FBI Most Wanted Terrorist Information

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has a list of prominent fugitives displayed within their official website at http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/terrorists/fugitives.htm . All the individuals included in the list are wanted by the FBI in connection with heinous crimes committed by them. Almost all these acts of terrorism had resulted in deaths as well as destruction of governmental facilities. The Federal grand juries sitting in the various district courts had indicted the men of committing violent crimes against the nation. The list of these alleged criminals was prepared by the FBI after the 9/11 attacks of 2001. The FBI Most Wanted Terrorist list contained a total of 22 terrorists initially which had been altered over the years.

President Bush released the list to the general public in October 2001 which included the details of 22 most violent criminals who had escaped from law after causing destruction all round. All the acts of terrorism from 1995 to 1998 were included in the category. The offenders in the most wanted list of the FBI are placed in random order. Usama Bin Laden the most dreaded terrorist today and accused of being involved in 9/11 acts is placed at the top of the table displaying the photographs of the terrorists wanted by the law.

The FBI has also decided to involve the general public in the process of eliminating terrorism by way of the War against Terrorism List which was released on January 2002. The list contains information about five individuals suspected of planning terrorism acts against the United States of America.  The list of most wanted terrorists is not similar to the other criminal records and a name included within the list is not likely to be removed unless the terrorist is believed to be dead or the charges against him are dropped completely.

Rewards

Since the offenders are on the run and may not be residing in the United States at present, the Bureau of Diplomatic Security offers rewards in exchange for any information that can reveal the whereabouts of the terrorists who are included in the most wanted terrorist list. Accessing the resource of Rewards of Justice website at http://www.rewardsforjustice.net/ will enable you to view the details of terrorists as well as the reward amount offered for information about   these international terrorists.

Providing Information to the FBI

The FBI also has an online form at https://tips.fbi.gov/ which can be filled out giving the relevant information as well as your contact details if you have information on any one of the offenders on the most wanted terrorist list of the FBI. The information thus received is usually reviewed by a special agent or any other professional member of the organization on priority basis.
