Verizon Services

The various services that Verizon provides are as follows:-

Voice:

It offers various types of landline services along with “Voice over Internet Protocol” or VOIP and even optical fiber technology based services. It even has integration with Microsoft which is used in Windows Live Messenger tool created by Microsoft.

Voicemail, Wireless and Voice-Wing:

Voice-Wing from Verizon is a VoIP service presented by Delta-three and resold again by Verizon that provides phone tune-up through a broadband Internet association. A DSL or cable Internet connection, a telephone adaptor and a router, and are required for tune-up.

Data:

The Digital Subscriber Line or DSL Internet service is provided by Verizon in many locations where the company offers phone services. It has also started offering Fiber to the Premises or Fiber to the Home or FTTP to few of its clients. Based on the records from organization Spamhaus that specializes in spam monitoring, Verizon has the largest line up of known spammers amongst all global networks. Verizon DSL can be installed using any operating system. The DSL service is offered in various speeds which vary from 768 kbps to 7.1 mbps download.

In the recent technology market Verizon is known to be a ruler who can divide voice calls into packets of data and send them over high-speed Internet filing system. This service is and will always be cheaper since the person selling this service will not pay typical access charges as is done in case of normal telephone transmission. This was started by them in the year 2009. Most of the competitors in the market will be reluctant to offer this service over Internet since that would hamper their normal business of connecting calls over telephone. They also have arguments in this regard like the call over Internet can be inferior in quality and will be Less reliable than the traditional calling system over phone.

The target set by Verizon is to capture the countrywide consumers especially for ten million homes and families where they can make their recent technology work even without high-speed Internet connection. Customers who subscribe for this service have to pay a minimum monthly amount for unlimited local and long-distance calls within the country. This technology is cheaper by $25 than the tradition system of calling over telephone for every month.
