Block Calls Temporarily

If there are a few people from whom you want to conceal your number then this is the best possible option. This is a very quick process and you would not have to go through any elaborate follow-up. To bar your number temporarily, so that it does not appear in the caller ID screen of the recipient, simply dial *67 before dialing the number.

A person receiving a call from your number will have the message, “private number” displayed on the screen. This means the number has been locked. Please note that it is important to check whether your number is blocked properly. This is because once you have used this facility of *67, there would not be any notification to confirm that the blockage is done successfully. Therefore make a quick call to your land phone number and make sure that the method works properly.
