Area Code 339

 

There are 5 counties under this area code namely Essex, Plymouth, Suffolk, Middlesex, Norfolk. This is an overlay code and was formed in 2001. About 33 cities are served under this code and some of them include Norwell, Boston, Lynn, Kingston, Sharon, Cambridge, Malden, Lexington, and Melrose. 47 telephone exchanges are numbered from 200 to 933. This area comprises 50 communities.

 

Area Code 351

 

There is only one city in this area code and that is Danvers. 2 area codes namely 201 and 814 and the county of Essex are the only constituents of area code 351. 351 and 978 are part of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. They serve the following communities- Haverhill, Salem, Lowell, Paebody, Lawrence, Leominster and Fitchburg. Northern Massachusetts is also included within this area code. This is a NANPA area code for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It was introduced in July 16 1998 and was meant to share the load of the existing area code 617. There are 12 counties and 208 cities.
